CHRISTIANITY DERAILED/Knock and the Door will be open #97-4

Dear Network,

There  is a lot of confusion about what the Living Network is and how it works.

Why are you on the network? Why are you allowed on these private email groups?

"Knock and the Door will be open" is a phrase we hear  in reference to the Bible.

It was a motto of the time used by the people we know as the Essenes. Among them were probably many of the early followers of Christ.

When someone requests coming on these email groups we should let them on... not because they deserve to be on them but because they asked.

"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:" Matthew 7:7 [Luke 11:9]

Anyone who requests to be on these email groups should be allowed on the groups. Being on an email group is nothing. It is a virtual community with no substance, but exists only in a virtual world. Coming on the email group is only an opportunity to become a part of a living Network.

If you pick/elect someone on the group to be your active Personal Contact Minister then you would be a part of what we call the Living Network.

But that is also only an opportunity to become a part of His Church of Record.

If you form a Congregation of Record with two or more other people then you are recorded as a participant in His Church through a chain of authentication.

This is still not His Holy Church or the kingdom of God nor the government of God.

"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." Matthew 7:21

While the kingdom of God is within you it is also a viable government that operated in the world but not of it. It operated for the people, by the charity of the people through the appointment of Christ and the witness of His apostles and the people of each other. It was not like the governments of the other nations which exercise authority over men... but was a peculiar nation. It was the alternative of Christ and the prophets from which all pure religions sprang before being twisted into something else.

All governments require you to relinquish some authority so that it may have authority.

Like any government, the kingdom of God is dependent on people bearing witness to people, in agreement, with common precepts and laws, for the purpose of government.

The kingdom of God is about being ruled by God, not by men. Unlike most government there is no corporate nature by contract. In other words you relinquish no rights to form your government because all participants remain at liberty, retaining their right to choose..

Your bearing witness one for another is an element of the kingdom. It is coveture of one another for one another to the world. It gives the titular body that represents you a covering. This covering is required to make the kingdom of God viable amongst other nations of authority, which we often call the world. While the elements of the world bring men into bondage the elements of the kingdom of God set men free. What you do you do for the protection of others out of love, not for yourself alone.

Unlike the authoritarian benefactors of the Gentile/otehr nations, the Church, as the government of God, was to provide their service only by the charity and free will offerings of the people. Love, humility and forgiveness are required to make such systems, operating under the perfect law of liberty, a true blessing for both rich and poor alike.

The Levites were also naked of any exercising authority. They could not go up by steps less they reveal that nakedness. The people were told to make underwear, a covering, for them.

Exodus 28:42 “And thou shalt make them linen breeches to cover their nakedness; from the loins even unto the thighs they shall reach:”

Giving them a covering and being naked has nothing to do with the clothes they wear. It is about coverture and the power or authority to act and lead by serving. The Levites had no inheritance, no personal estate, nor any exercising authority. They were a government. Their success depended upon the good will of the people who freely gave them their covering by tithing to them according to their service.

Charity is marked by Paul as the greatest of gifts and that personal sacrifice not only saves those who fall on hard times but also frees and matures the grantors of charity in the practice of the virtues, sacrifices and ways of Christ. Those called out ministers of Christ’s were appointed a kingdom at hand. They were restricted by several of Christ’s proclaimed conditions. [From the book The Free Church Report]

The kingdom of God does not require men to relinquish their rights in corporate Contracts, Covenants or Constitutions like other governments. When the people seeking the kingdom of God give to their chosen ministers they must give freely. Only their right to control what they choose to give is relinquished, and only their rights over that thing given, never over themselves or their right to choose. This is the perfect law of liberty.

There is another quote in the Bible about knocking and doors.

"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.  He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches." Revelation 3:20-22

Christ is knocking at the door of our hearts. As he invited all so do we invite all to walk with us, stop coveting one another's goods, stop trying to rule over one another, start setting your neighbor free so that you may be free, start becoming doers of the word by becoming doers of your own word. Start being worthy of charity by freely giving to one another with no requirement placed upon your gift. Do not rebel against the world but conform to Christ, His ways and the ways of the perfect law of  liberty for your neighbor and then for yourself.

There is but another  quote in the Bible about knocking and doors.

"When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:" Luke 13:25
