Abraham Uncivilized

The Organized State

As man became civilized by the creation of City States he entered into social contracts that made use of at least two conceptual legal structures. One of those structures is described as a Trust and the other is called a Corporation. Both of these structures are often overlapping concepts established by written agreement and exchange.

What is a social contract?

"social contract, agreement or covenant by which men are said to have abandoned the 'state of nature' to form the society in which they now live.... Assumes that men at first lived in a state of anarchy were there was no society, no government, and no organized coercion of the individual by the group... by the social contract men had surrendered their natural liberties in order to enjoy the order and safety of the organized state." (The Columbia Encyclopedia, Columbia University Press, 1968, p. 1983)

In 1620 the Pilgrims, attempted to establish the "City of God", ironically based upon a social contract: the Mayflower compact. But once they had given power to exercise authority through contract those that did not fit the mold were sometimes punished by zealots. Some of their persecutions were as criminal as the inquisition.

"Puritans in Massachusetts vowed 'to build a city of God on earth'. The 'city' they built, however, required conformity to the temporal and religious standards dictated by them. Although persecuted themselves in England, Puritans in Massachusetts persecuted those who did not abide by their strict beliefs." 1

Proverbs 1:14-19 Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse: My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path: For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood. Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird. And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily for their own lives. So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof.

A social contract is when a man casts in his lot with other men abandoning his original Natural State under God in exchange for the social security offered by an organized corporate State. With the surrender of his "natural liberties" he becomes part of a larger whole with certain advantages and disadvantages. Through his trust in this larger body he becomes a partaker of the whole body. He has created this new State, this Corporate Body with his own hands or by striking hands with that State he has gone under an authority other than the authority that had granted him the original natural liberty.

Corporation of the Body

Concerning corporations we will only give it the most general of definitions here. A corporation is when two or more people are gathered together for a particular purpose as one person or one body under a preexisting authority. This precept is fundamental in all City States. Note that the elements of greatest concern should be the purpose and under what authority is the corporation established.

The first corporation was undoubtedly Adam and Eve who came together as one person under the authority of God. Subsequent marriages may have been under that Godly authority or another authority. Matrimony under the authority of God was the union of man and woman for his purposes. Marriage under the authority of the Civil State, giving the State for all intensive purposes original jurisdiction over that union, may have another purpose altogether or the same purpose for the benefit of a different authority. There is a distinctive difference between Holy Matrimony and Marriage.

The principle of incorporation extended to the whole family. If Holy Matrimony is the incorporation of man and woman in the first estate or State then subsequent marriage under that original authority is merely incorporation under that preexisting authority. The family could grow by new members being generated, e.g. being born. They may also be adopted into the family such as the City States often did by their offer of membership or certified birth into the State.

The body of the organized State acted like a large family with the Patronus or Patria in the position of demanding, Parens Patria, obey the Father. The state could also incorporate other institutions within its jurisdiction but they abided under the authority of the State. Howard Scott defined a criminal as, "A person with predatory instincts who has not sufficient capital to form a corporation."

A City State is both a Trust and a Corporation. This therefore require that some substance of present value be included as a deposit into the corpus or body of the entity or State. To fulfill the elements of Trust or Corporation there must be more than a mere promise, pledge of future donation. A pledge of allegiance imparts an understanding of an actual exchange of some real substance and estate.

Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary (1913) The word allegiance is defined as, "The tie or obligation, implied or expressed, which a subject owes to his sovereign or government; the duty of fidelity to one's king, government, or state." "The meaning was influenced by the Latin word ligare to bind, and even by lex, legis, law." It would be to your advantage to understand the difference between the terms Law and legal.

The trust of ones substance by pledge or oath denotes some mutual faith or trust in the Patronus and a corresponding subjection to the corporate State. A corporation is a fiction. It has no life of its own. It is entirely dependent upon the life of its corpus. The corpus is the flesh and bone, the life and breath of those who become its members.

Incorporation... the formation of a legal or political body... In civil law. The union of one domain [or dominion] to another. 2.

In the City State one of the most common things of value to be deposited for the benefit of the Legal State, as a legally bound unit or body, was the individual corpus of the people themselves, the subject citizenry. This was established or constructed by contracts and other acts of allegiance. Also land and even the gold and silver in the individual family treasuries which were normally managed by the first born as the "priest" of the family.

Exodus 32:3 And all the people brake off the golden earrings which [were] in their ears, and brought [them] unto Aaron.

In a City State there was a great loss of personal freedom and wealth. There was always corruption and bureaucratic waste. Yet, the creation of City States created a need to belong to a City State for protection. Like the gangs of the inner city today, the youth often feel compelled to join one gang in order to find some protection from other gangs.

The City State

The first City State we find in biblical text is Enoch which was established by Cain.

Genesis 4:17 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.

Cain was told to become a wanderer after the ultimate oppression of his brothers life but again he sinned against the will of the Creator and established a civil power that bound men to his will and control offering them a social state of security and securing his own position of power and authority. He became the Father of the state and the forefather of the people in it.

Genesis 4:12 When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.

Another branch of the family continued its presence on earth. From Seth to Noah they remained according to God's plan and did not enter the family of the City State remaining righteous in their generations. They did not enter into a social contract walking with men but abided in a State of Nature under God.

Genesis 6:9 These [are] the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man [and] perfect in his generations, [and] Noah walked with God.

The sons of Noah did create many City States and their civil power reduced men to subject possessions held in trust. The leaders of the Civil power held their office as trustees and benefactor of their corporate kingdoms. These offices and positions of exercising authority metamorphosed and the Law of Patronus, the Father, became the despotic centers of civil tyranny and terror.

Even the word in Hebrew for city ` iyr [rye] actually means "excitement, anguish, of terror." The City State was guarded and offered some protection but often became a threat to those around it as the people in it became lazy and apathetic as well as greedy and envious. The people sought to possess the benefits of the City State and the City States possessed the people or at least a portion of their service in return. The people became the laboring assets of the City State and debt from taxes could enslave them as a bondservant of the state on civic improvement projects. In more modern times this statutory labor was called a corvee which was nothing more than the voluntary enslavement or employment of the people at large.

When the burden and demand of the political contribution brought a threat of rebellion the City State often reached out to take from its neighbor what it could no longer safely extract from the blood and flesh of its own members.
