We look forward to this year’s Fall retreat to be the beginning of a long tradition of coming together to commune and share bounty, knowledge, skills and entertainment in His Spirit.  We encourage each participant to share whatever skills, knowledge, music, talent, or uplifting gifts they may have.  It is through sharing that knowledge and skills are acquired and honed, friendships formed, hearts and minds filled, and by which His community will survive and thrive.

Presentations suggested/offered to date include:

~ grain growing, harvesting, storage, and of course, lots of bread making!

~ sprouting, natural sugar production, and fermentation (aka: beer making)

~ butchering large and small animals

~ campfire talks and fellowship

So that we may better coordinate presentations and entertainment for the retreat, we will need some basic information from you.  Please provide the following information via email to James Williams by August 31, 2010. This will give us time to work out an agenda, notify you, and post it on the web ahead of time so everyone will come prepared.

Note: while most people will be attending Sept 24 - 26, the extended retreat is Sept 23 - 28.  Some may come even earlier and/or stay longer. While not guaranteed, we will do our best to accommodate everyone’s request and we appreciate your understanding and willingness to work with us. If you have special circumstances, such as plane flights home, please let us know as we will take that into consideration when making up the agenda.
